There
will be a shout of command, the archangel's voice, the sound of
God's trumpet, and the Lord Himself will come down from Heaven.
1
Thessalonians 4: 16
Those
who have died believing in Christ will rise to life first; then
we who are living at that time will be gathered up along with
them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will
always be with the Lord.

Thessalonians 4: 16& 17
The
Bible says, "Listen to this secret truth; we shall not all
die, but when the last trumpet sounds, we shall all be changed
in an instant, as quickly as the blinking of an eye. For when
the trumpet sounds, the dead will be raised, never to die again,
and we shall all be changed." 1 Corinthians 15: 51, 52
Jesus
said, "If anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Messiah'
or 'There He is' -- do not believe him. For false Messiahs and
false prophets will appear; they will perform great miracles.
They will make wonders in order to trick God's people. If anyone
tells you, 'Look, Jesus is out in the desert' -- do not go
there. If they say, 'Look, Jesus is hiding here' -- do not
believe it. For Jesus will come like the lightning that flashes
across the whole sky from the East to the West."
Remember,
every eye will see Jesus come. Everyone will hear Him. His feet
will not touch the ground. We go up to meet Him in the clouds.
Jesus holds a trumpet and a sickle. Revelation 14: 14
In Lesson
28 you
learned about Ellen White. When she was seventeen, she was shown
a picture of Jesus coming. She saw a small black cloud that
looked white when it got closer. A rainbow surrounded Jesus. He
had crowns inside of crowns on His head. There were thousands of
angels with Him. The angels made beautiful music. The bottom of
the cloud was very bright like a fire. The earth shook and the
mountains were moved out of their places. Ellen White wrote this
story down in her book called Early Writings.
Be sure
you study your Bible carefully so you will not be tricked by
evil Satan when he pretends to be Jesus coming for you.
