India April 2002

Home Up Quilt Pinapple Story India April 2002 Just for missionaries

Watch  for updates.  This India trip, we visited  5 orphanages, schools, villages, and much more. All praise and glory and honor goes to God.  WE are at the end of time in this world. It is not time to save up for retirement. He promised. God has chosen us to go share the gospel to the world. He does not choose the qualified, but qualifies those He chooses. This way He can  show that HIS WORK IS NOT DONE BY MANPOWER or WOMANPOWER. It is only done by HIS strength. Our mistakes are fixed up by God. Other mission stories are on web site www.larom.org. Look under mission stories and under answered prayer stories.

God promises that He will make up for our unavoidable deficiencies.  It is a privilege and an honor to be a part of making people have hope. God opened up the windows of heaven for this trip. By April 8 we were ticketed round trip fares for 7.  We gathered 400 used eye glasses, bags of clothes, toys, new seeds, Bibles, meds, and arrived April 10. Read of how God flexes His muscles to do the IMPOSSIBLE for this Faith Adventure.

The sincere Sunday Pastor of a non denominational church in Tenali  invited us to give gospel meetings in 4 villages. He has invited us again. He was on his knees for 3 hours yesterday for we are so short of needed funds for lighting, microphones, transport, and printing of pamphlets. I too have been much in prayer. I am not getting much done, for I am pleading with God to move HIS mighty arm.  He even had his whole church praying all night for God to provide the funds. He and members have been fasting. We have also been praying for the best time for God to do this thing for them.  God promised me that we would be there by April 10,2002 at Hyderabad airport. I began to pack even though we have not yet been able to buy 7 tickets yet for transport in 2 weeks. "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. " God has not said when we shall return to share more Gospel meetings.

Soon every eye will see Jesus coming. Look at the answered prayer section for already there are many stories about India experience there. When we go back, we will need a better solution for the food. There needs to be food available to that does not burn. We do not tolerate any spice whatsoever. Curry even causes tears to come from our eyes. The pain lasts for several hours. We went hungry many times but Jesus kept us alive.

God loves all people rich or poor, educated or not. All are to hear the good news about God's love. Won't you join us by praying for God's outpouring on  India?

Promises we are treasuring for our faith adventure into India:

Isaiah  30:20 And [though] the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This [is] the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine (Mulberry) tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.  (Mulberries don't grow in water, roots like well drained soil. They can produce protein rich fruit for hundreds of years)

Mathew 17:19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

I Samuel 12:24 Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider how great [things] he hath done for you.

Mathew 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this [which is done] to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Fear

Psalms 55:22; 56:3 When I am afraid, I will put my trust in Him, cast your burden on the Lord, and He'll sustain you.

Cast your burden upon the Lord, He will sustain you, He will not permit the righteous to be moved. When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. Cast your burden upon the Lord, He will sustain you.

Psalms 46:2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Joshua 10:25 And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.

Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Psalms 27 27:1 [A Psalm] of David. The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
27:2 When the wicked, [even] mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
27:3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this [will] I [be] confident.
27:4 One [thing] have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.
27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Jesus is perfect. Christ's righteousness is imputed unto them, and He will say, "Take away the filthy garments from him and clothe him with change of raiment." Jesus makes up for our unavoidable deficiencies. Where Christians are faithful to each other, true and loyal to the Captain of the Lord's host, never betraying trusts into the enemy's hands, they will be transformed into Christ's character. Jesus will abide in their hearts by faith.--Letter 17a, 1891. (See also a similar statement made in 1885 in Faith and Works, p. 50.) {3SM 196.1}
"In the last day, that great day of the feast," His voice was heard in tones that rang through the temple courts, "If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. He that believeth on Me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." "This," said John, "spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive." John 7:37-39. The refreshing water, welling up in a parched and barren land, causing the desert place to blossom, and flowing out to give life to the perishing, is an emblem of the divine grace which Christ alone can bestow, and which is as the living water, purifying, refreshing, and invigorating the soul. He in whom Christ is abiding has within him a never-failing fountain of grace and strength. Jesus cheers the life and brightens the path of all who truly seek Him. His love, received into the heart, will spring up in good works unto eternal life. And not only does it bless the soul in which it springs, but the living stream will flow out in words and deeds of righteousness, to refresh the thirsting around him. {PP 412.2}

RIVERS is plural. If you believe in Jesus the supply of living water is endless. And also the supply for others is endless.

Don't hold up just a cup to be filled. Ask for all He can give. Ask for what He has promised, MANY RIVERS.
John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might be full.
15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Promised Assistance- 3 Most Powerful Dignitaries of Heaven plus all their resources. (Funds, Armies, Food, Anything needed just ask.)

(Rom. 6:4). Facilities of Heaven Pledged.--The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, the three holy dignitaries of heaven, have declared that they will strengthen men to overcome the powers of darkness. All the facilities of heaven are pledged to those who by their baptismal vows have entered into a covenant with God (MS 92, 1901). {5BC 1110.8}

When we have accepted Christ, and in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit have pledged ourselves to serve God, the Father, Christ, and the Holy Spirit--the three dignitaries and powers of heaven--pledge themselves that every facility shall be given to us if we carry out our baptismal vows to "come out from among them, and be . . . separate, . . . and touch not the unclean thing." When we are true to our vows, He says, "I will receive you" (MS 85, 1901). {6BC 1075.8}

Baptism is a most solemn renunciation of the world. Self is by profession dead to a life of sin. The waters cover the candidate, and in the presence of the whole heavenly universe the mutual pledge is made. In the name of the Father, and Son, and the Holy Spirit, man is laid in his watery grave, buried with Christ in baptism, and raised from the water to live the new life of loyalty to God. The three great powers in heaven are witnesses; they are invisible but present. {FLB 146.3}

But every advance step they take must be a step of faith. If they have a religious experience that is rich in faith, one can chase a thousand, and two can put ten thousand to flight. But all the talents that they may possess, all the skill and eloquence that they may acquire, will effect nothing unless they are consecrated to God. {HS 135.4}

And as the true Christian seeks to fulfill this pledge, he grows in self-distrust. Constantly he places more dependence upon God. His reverence and love for the Saviour continually increase, and he is a living witness for his Master. He realizes what it means to be a child of God. He has a realizing sense that the cleansing blood of Christ secures for him pardon and elevation of character. In spirituality he grows like the lofty cedar. Daily he holds communion with God, and he has a treasure-house of knowledge from which to draw. He is mighty in the knowledge of the Scriptures. His fellowship is with the Father and the Son, and he knows more and still more of the divine will. He is filled with a constantly increasing love for God and for his fellowmen.--Letter 46, 1901. {MM 127.3}

When you took these vows, you pledged yourself, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, that you would live unto God, and you have no right to break this pledge. The help of the three great powers is placed at your disposal. {RC 178.3}
Faithfulness to our baptismal vows gives the heart preparation needful for saving souls (RH May 26, 1904).
But every advance step they take must be a step of faith. If they have a religious experience that is rich in faith, one can chase a thousand, and two can put ten thousand to flight. But all the talents that they may possess, all the skill and eloquence that they may acquire, will effect nothing unless they are consecrated to God. {HS 135.4}

Invisible armies of light and power attend the meek and lowly ones who believe and claim the promises of God. COL 176

Jeremiah 1:8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I [am] with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
1:9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
Isaiah 6:6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, [which] he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
6:7 And he laid [it] upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here [am] I; send me.

Daniel 10:16 And, behold, [one] like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
10:17 For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
10:18 Then there came again and touched me [one] like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
10:19 And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace [be] unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.

The feet of those carrying the gospel are beautiful to God.

Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

He will quiet you in His love. Zeph. 3:17
II Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
4:8 [We are] troubled on every side, yet not distressed; [we are] perplexed, but not in despair;
4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward [man] is renewed day by day.
4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory;
4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.
 I can be one of God's Golden bowls

God's Word Flows Into Messengers' Hearts.--[Zech. 4:11-14 quoted.] These empty themselves into the golden bowls, which represent the hearts of the living messengers of God, who bear the Word of the Lord to the people in warnings and entreaties. The Word itself must be as represented, the golden oil, emptied from the two olive trees that stand by the Lord of the whole earth. This is the baptism by the Holy Spirit with fire. This will open the soul of unbelievers to conviction. The wants of the soul can be met only by the working of the Holy Spirit of God. Man can of himself do nothing to satisfy the longings and meet the aspirations of the heart (MS 109, 1897). {4BC 1180.1}

Ecc. 12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.

Zechariah 4:1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
4:2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all [of] gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which [are] upon the top thereof:
4:3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right [side] of the bowl, and the other upon the left [side] thereof.
4:4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What [are] these, my lord?
4:5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This [is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
