Kisumu Meetings
Hi
Just have a short minute while in town for Swahili Bibles.
There are over 1000 coming. Over 130 have demanded and asked for baptism and over 300 have come through the clinic already. WE need Bibles. We are in town (2 hr journey) to get what we can. We needed some rest from the crowds. I figured on a small village of 200 that it would be easy to get clinic work done but word is out.
Elevation is 6000 and we get cold. At night our hosts are keeping warm blankets on us and feeding us so well. The water filters are just what we needed. There is nothing any where near this village with no electricity or telephones. The place is open to the Bible truths and there are so many sick needing our help.
Hoping for more time to tell details but we are so busy.
An electric line was brought into the village for our use in the public building. The gov. leader offered us his office for clinics and the 3 chiefs are so happy for our services medically that the auditorium is given free without rent. God is providing so much through those enjoying the services we bring. The glasses are being worn and used for reading by over 180 people now and we have a week and a half still to go.
We leave Nov. 5. Our flight is an evening one but perhaps we will change to morning and have time to make sure the sanctuary arriving from the Philippines is ready for flight in the morning of Nov. 6 to Lubumbashi in Congo.
We are in good health and very comfortable.
Sincerely,
Yuur fellow co-worker in the Master's vineyard,
Dr. Rose and Jenny
